UNICEF Ambassador Ryan Giggs from Manchester United learns more about the dreams and aspirations of Didi, a young refugee girl from Myanmar. Says Didi,"When I grow up I want to help poor people because many people,even strangers, help my family now."

"It is tragic to hear how marginalised children and those affected by HIV suffer as a result of stigma. But by joining these children here today and showing our support we hope to send out a powerful message; that all children, no matter their background, where they live or their HIV status should be treated equally."- Ryan Giggs, Manchester United Player and UNICEF UK Ambassador.

Last Friday, 17 July 2009, Manchester United stars Ryan Giggs, Patrice Evra and Federico Macheda as well as Manchester United Foundation Chief Executive John Shiels took time out of the club's pre-season tour of Asia to join UNICEF to champion the rights of marginalised children in Malaysia and highlight their increased vulnerability to HIV.

The group spent time with children from vulnerable backgrounds, including children from families affected by HIV and AIDS, whose parents are sex workers or drug users, as well as street children and refugee children. Many of these children find themselves living on the margins of society as a result of public discrimination, stigma and prejudice, fueled by prejudices, myths and fears.

Shunned by communities and invisible to society, these children are excluded from databases and overlooked in policy formulation and program development.

Lasting solutions to protect them and the next generation must address the protection of their rights as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. These rights are not merely the benefit of a few but the entitlement of all children, regardless of their identity, family background, gender, geographical location or HIV status.

UNICEF Ambassador and Manchester United player Ryan Giggs enjoys a lively conversationwith 16-year old MH, a refugee teen whose parents come from Myanmar.MH is an avid Manchester United fan who spends his free time coaching younger refugee children in Malaysia to play football.

Dyrang pn pg belasah, rompak pas2 g raped gf pakistani tuh seorang warga indonesia. Wow!! multi-nationalities sungguh kan? Sama bodoh & sama jahat!!

Alhamdullillah. still kekenyangan walaupn dh pukul 10. makan sorang2 pas2 mcm ular sawa kekenyangan kt depan tv. klo mak mentua tgk confirm pengsan. bgn balik. pengsan balik! Memandangkn chef sdg bercuti ke luar negara, aku pn terpaksala mencemar duli masuk dapur memasak utk sahur mlm td. bile bukak freezer, byk gile lauk. udang, ayam, sotong, ikan, salmon, fish ball seperti sebuah aquarium. tp bwg ileklah. adelah seketul. sayur pn dh abis layu dh. so, for my sahur yesterday i cooked smbal sotong with breaded shrimps. shrimps tu yg frozen. so, masuk je dlm kuali. selesai. ahaks. I had tom yam seafood ngan kerabu papaya utk berbuke with telur dadar & pisang goreng as starter. hmm. tp bukan zaireen masaklah. take-away je kt thai smile. dh call siap2 dr office blk office. touch&go je. balik goreng telur, masak nasik & goreng pisang. bujang babe! selesai. so, sape kate idup bujang xindah? tp klo zila pg lebih sebulan, mau jd naomi campbell aku nanti. hish. dh ngantuk ni tp xleh tdo. makanan duk sengkak lg kt tekak. tp mata dh layu abis dh ni. menguap dh dekat 34907 kali dh.

Last weekend, we went to Camel Race course kt al-shahaniya. memula plan nk bwk kakak & anak buah zila jalan2. skalituh yulad ikut, syafie & wife pn ikut. trmasukla fairul si bujang senang tuh. so, meriahla jdnyer. seronok tgk camel2 tuh wat camel walk. hahaha. On saturday plak, zila depart pepg kul 9 lbh. zaireen pn bgn awal ari itu. aku buat laundry skit2 before shamsul amik g umah rizal. rizal masak tgh ari for us. 5 of us. (niat di hati nk dpt souvenir beijing yg best..sbb 2 kami nk jd antara yg terawal). ihik. pas2 ke landmark menonton harry potter. serius aku xpaham. mase tgk 2 smua control sbb konon2 buat2 paham. skali kluar smua gelak&blur xpaham. hahaha. apaaa da! lepas anta suffian ktrng pg supper kt taste of asia. bwk syafei yg xpnah pg tuh. aku hentam makan murtabak. erhh. penuh gile rase perut. bile blk trus rase penat. bukan ape. penat ckp. aku rase aku kna 'verbal diarrhoea' ari2. ngeh3x. oklah. tu je. tata.ni gambar kt shahaniya. gambar ari sab2 xamik sbb yelah. asikla gambar makanan kan! so, enjoy!

Hai peeps. seminggu xupdate blog. nothing muchla. last weekend had our bujang terhebat nyer lunch. Theme die bila kedah & kelantan bertemu. Zila masak ayam pandan, with sambal tumis ikan bilis with petai & smbal sotong. Si rafi pulak buat nasik lemak kedah kaler kuning with goreng kangkung and cocktail jelly. me?? rebus telur. ahaks. We had great time. lepak2 tgk dvd smbil mkn cekodok with suffian & shamsul before ke villagio after maghrib prayer. i bought 3 books kt virgin. 1.who moved my cheese (suggested by syafei), 2.the wedding (Am kate best) and 3.man and son (rasenyer itulah tajuk die). we had kopi2 sebelum balik. Good foods + good friends = great combo!!

so, i was browsing thru my blog list. pnah x terase cam nk bg komen pepanjang mengalahkan tuan punye blog. hahaha. so, arini dgn semangatnya instead of komen kt tuan punye blog, saye komen kt blog saye eh.

3rd July 2009 (Friday)-Atok menghembuskan nafas terakhir. 2 months after papa passed away. exactly 2 months & pada hari yg same papa meninggal. It was 10 in d morning. still in bed. i was shocked. stayed there for a while. no tears. no feeling. sad? yes. but no tears. really. i was alone. it was all coming back to me. suffocated. Took me 10 minutes to call che lah and she called syafei. syafei picked me up aku stay kt umah syafei sbb mmg ptg tuh ade mkn2 kt umah syafei. lepas smyang zohor & bace yassin aku trus rase calm & i know atok is in a better place now. dh setahun atok sakit & bedridden. Aku mmg xleh nk blk. memula aku jealous dgn pak chu sbb dyrang tunggu pakchu utk kebumi. Tp Allah knows best. & Allah paid me cash bile haniz bgtau pak chu xsempat nk tgk atok kebumi sbb flight pak chu delayed 3 hours. Allah, forgive me to feel that way.
