After 17th D.A.Y..

Ahlan!!! Lame plak xupdate blog. busy..busy..busy. Byk keja kt office. Lglah bile office hours pendek mase bln puase ni rase cam xsempat je nk abiskan keja. sekejap je dh 17 ari puase. for me? br 11 ari. Knala nanti ganti 6hari. huhu. Since kja mmg xde ampun sejak masuk bulan puase ni trpaksalah kurangkan blog hopping. Bukak skali skala bile kt umah..smua bercerita mengenai keindahan santapan berbuka puase. Mmg meleleh air liur. Tp ape kurangnya kami yg 6,000km dr tanahair tercinta ni. I've tried my best to concentrate more on amalan and less on foods tp undangan demi undangan. Damn hard to resist mouthwatering temptation. Brace yourself as the entry will be all about foodss..GLORIOUS FOODSS!!

Had our first jemputan from Kak Ija on d 2nd day of puase. Potluck. Mmg meriah. dlm 20pax dat nite. Enjoy! had terawikh together & we watched Nur Kasih after terawikh. Ohh..talking about Nur Kasih. will have one special entry for that (if i have the time!!). Had Iftar with the bujangs at our house on the 5th day. Nasi ayam for iftar. & Sagu gula melaka for moreh. Sedih dgr si Rafi buke puase makan tauhu kicap.huhu. so, jemputla bujang2 senang tuh. Jemput separuh je. Lintang pukang klo nk ajak smua skali one shot!! Ade kaki tangan smua memasak nanti. 6th day, Berbuke puase dkt Al-Arabi Sports Club under MAQ. Makan beriyani kambing. 7th day - Pasar Ramadan MAQ. Tp biaselah aku sesampai je jd cam YB. Jumpe org sane..salam org sini. (Teringat zaman kt UTM dulu!!) sudahnyer org dh nk blk br aku terkial-kial nk beli makanan. YB kan!! End up beli nasik lemak with everything (paru+hati+kerang). Then beli pulut kuningla..apamla..kekla..& laksa. Tp laksa tuh dh basi bile nk mkn for sahur. :(

2nd week of puase xkurang meriahnyer. Last Saturday, si senah kna pg kja so aku pn singsing lengan masuk dapur. ahakks! Aku masak mee bandung (read: guna paste. ngeh3x) then buat ubi rebus tp xsedap sbb ubi die dh tua dan keras. xabis pun. Rafi dtg & buat jelly. Then atas permintaan die, si senah buat sagu gula melaka lg. Suke btul die!! We had iftar with Rafi & Shamsul. 9th day - sibuk gile!! i went back pn dh dkt2 nk buke puase. Zila kna kja smpai kul 8.30 mlm. Trus g dinner kt Caravan je. Mase tuh perut dh masuk angin dh pn. Xlalu sgt nk mkn. Penatlah kejaaaaaa....grrr.

10th day - Jemputan brbuke brsama mantan president!! gituhhh!! Hj Yaakob & Kak Yati jemput g umah die. Xyah masak. hihi. Mee rebus. otak2. tom yam etc..etc..kesimpulan: kenyang. The next day on Tuesday, brbuke umah Fatima temankan die. we had simple iftar. boiled potato, salads, mushroom soup & cordon bleu chicken. Simple coz it's all microwave-able.except potato & salads. Wednesday, berbuke di umah bujang Khizmie & Rizal. Rizal cooked tempoyak udang & etc..etc. yummy!! Thursday, brlah brbuke di rumah. We cooked nasi minyak+ayam masak merah+dalca+acar timun+ikan masin+sambal belacan. heaven! had iftar with Rizal, Khizmie & Fairul. On Friday, invitation from Kak Rubi. Another round of tempoyak. This time tempoyak ikan. The spreads adalah byk & sedap. Last saturday, we had potluck at Shamsul's. Fairul, our chef of the day cooked spaghetti. Zila prepared custard puddings & chicken wings. Hani & hubby prepared rice & chocolate puddings. Rizal with kampung fried rice & spring rolls. Tuan tanah kedaung served chicken pie & pastries. Me?? readymade garlic bread. ngeh. Alhamdullillah. murah rezeki kami.

Ok dah. enuff bout foods. Another 10 days nk blk Malaysia. Excitedlah nk jumpe family. Tp excitement berhari raya tuh xdelah. raya this time sgt sederhana. Zila balik lg 2hr. then rizal on d next day. Syafei & Hani same day with mine but they are outbound to Changi. Shamsul will be on d same flight with mine. Will meet Fairul at the airport as he is heading to Prague & berhari raya di bumi Czech Republic. Tinggallah Rafi sorang2, but he will be going to Cyprus a day after eid. So, KBT will have quite a break this time!! We will be having our final iftar together tomorrow at Holiday Villa and will be meeting again after the holiday.
