K.I.N.Gdom of Bahrain..

I was in Bahrain from 31st of Dec to 3rd of January..i had greatttt timess!! first..thanks to generous-friend-of-mine sbb sudi menghantar kami ke airport..syukran!!we arrived around 10..45 minit je dr Doha..klo by road 6 hours (according to Aina yg ktorang jumpe kt bahrain..)..sesampai je sheryll dh tunggu kt airport..prior to our departure sheryll ade bgtau ktorang akan stay kt umah kawan baik die..sbb die br je settle down kt bahrain..so xde sofa..xde extra bed..ktorang xkesah je..so..sheryll amik ktorang bersama dgn kawan die bernama Ken..die american..mase kt airport..aku tanyelah Ken ni..kja kt mane..die pn bgtau die kja ngan tentera laut america kt bahrain..gulp..bile smpai umah die..byk gile makanan ade..sheryll ade call b4 ktorang smpai tanye nk mkn ape?nk bfast ape?sbb Ken nk stok makanan kt fridge..bile ktorang smpai je..makanan penuh sa2 meja..fridge pn penuh..xtrmasuk lg titbits2..rase cm menyusahkan dyrang plak..tp tgk happy gile bile ktorang dtg..great hospitality guyss!!..xlama pas ktorang smpai..member2 Ken dtg jugak..dyrang bisik2 kt dapur bgtau dyrang xleh nk clbrate new year sbb smua celebration cancelled due to what happens in Gaza..smua member2 die kja ngan US navy gak..tetibe rase cam behind enemy line..bole??

Pg khamis tuh..bgn2 je..dyrang dh wat nasi goreng & toast..pas2 ktorang pn memulakan exploration..first went to Al-Fateh mosque..tp sbb public holiday..masjid tuh tutup..so..menuju ke gold city & gold souk..jalan2 tgk famous Bahraini natural pearls..mak aiii..arge mahal gile..semata-mata sebab it's natural..memula ingat nklah beli as souvenir..hmm..beli fridge magnet lg bagus..ktorang lunch then headed to Bahrain Fort & Barbar temple before ke King Fahad causeway..nothing much to say as tempat2 die agak plain..generous-friend-of-mine ade bgtau yg fort2 tuh cantik pg waktu mlm..tp sbb ktorang xtau nk g mane dah..so..redah gaklah..not bad..mase kt causeway tuh ktorang stay smpai sunset..dh gelap tuh ktorang pn g hard rock cafe..memula nk dinner kt sane..tp sheryll nk ktorang rase mkanan satu kdai arab yg sedap..so, ktorang pn menghala ke arab restaurant tuh lps beli souvenir kt HRC..pas mkn..around 9 dah..so baliklah apartment Ken..sebenarnyer klo ikutkan xdelah jauh sgt..tp sbb driver & navigator dua2 bengong jalan..so..adelah dekat 10x buat u-turn..but then, ktorang ok je..sronok duk gelak2 dlm keta..ohh..lupe..singgah Bahrain Trade Center yg ade windmill tuh..sustainable building..katenyerrr!!!windmill tuh reduce 15% of energy consumption for the building..smpai apartment duk ngadap news smpai kul 12 lebih br tdo..zzz..

2nd day..weather wasn't on our side..windy&cold&sandstorm..initially Ken ajak g jogging kt corniche..(which aku tau mmg aku xleh bgn nyerr..mamat tuh bgn kul 4 nk g jogging..hmm..mane lehh!!!)..since byk tempat buka only after friday prayer so ktorang took our own sweet time..for bfast..Ken masak spaghetti & garlic bread..byk gaklah aku mkn..ngee..Ken kna g office die jap..so ktrng lepak umah smpai kul 11 then gerak g tree of life somewhere towards south of Bahrain..kali ni xsesat sbb tmpat tuh dkt ngan navy base..pokok ni satu je pokok yg besar kt tgh pdg pasir tuh..it's mysterious tree sbb xtau pokok tuh dpt sumber air dr mane..ktorang nyer assumption..pokok tuh xpakai air tp pakai minyak yg abundance kt tgh pdg pasir tuh..ngee..next ktorang nk ke first oil well tp sbb signage yg sgt teruk & byk sgt tempat2 minyak kt situh..ktorang 4x pusing2...end up tembus blk jalan ke tree of life..hihi..tp rasenyer ktorang dh lalu dh tmpat tuh sbb location die sblm jabel dukhan (smokey mountain)..so..rasenyer dh lalu dh lah tp idakler teman perasan kan!!sbb weather sgt teruk..ktrng x pg fort kt riffa & proceed ke F1 circuit..snapping pics here & there..lps beli souvenir ktorang menghala ke burial mounds area aali..then to Arad fort..odw balik bertembung ngan demonstrator kt area corniche..protest against war on gaza..ktorang went back..freshen up then ke souk nk beli souvenir..brape byk souvenir ntah..hishh!!we had dinner kt mexican restaurant..thanx Ken for the dinner..pusing2 kt satu kedai name brand for less..pas2 blk & dozed off around 1 am..

Saturday..weather was fine..Ken xleh ikut ktorang arini sbb die nk anta boss die ke base..tp kul 7 die dh siap pancake & nasik with tuna etc..(Ken ni kawin ngan Pinoy so..foods die pn dh fusion ke arah sane..) pas bfast, ktorang ke Al-Fateh mosque then to Beit Al-Quran..last stop kt national museum..around 11 am we went to the airport..

All in all..seronokk sgt..walaupn Bahrain quite plain..tp seronok sbb spent time ngan Sheryll & Ken..they are sooo friendly & best gileee...Thanks a lot guyss!!i had greatt timesss!!!wohooo!!! so...I CAME..I SEE..I EXPLORED!!!

one down...tinggal Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, Muscat (Oman) and Abu Dhabi (UAE)...
